They play a key role in introducing and promoting new technologies, facilitating international trade and enabling efficient use of resources. The university has to achieve sustainable, resilient and quality infrastructures for all, promote a new industry under sustainability criteria that adopts clean and environmentally sound technologies and industrial processes, promote technology, innovation and research and achieve equal access to information and knowledge, mainly through the Internet.
